1:1 coaching allows our clients to focus on what they really want to achieve. This might be a one-off session or a series of progressive sessions. All our 1:1 coaching sessions will start with a rider / coach chat. Our coaches will discuss:

  • Long term goals
  • Short term goals
  • Session goals.
The 1:1 coaching sessions are client driven, we are here to get the most out of your riding

Description

One to One Private Coaching session

These sessions have been designed to allow WyeMTB coaching staff to create client focused 1:1 private mountain bike coaching sessions, based from the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre

We are happy to offer this session for the same price as a 1:1 booking for an additional person. This could be your partner, sibling or your mate who needs some help.

Sessions start from 3hr slots. Please ensure that you have appropriate clothing for the forecast (e.g. waterproof trousers and jacket, warm clothing) and that you have a helmet that complies with manufacturer guidelines. If we need to cancel due to adverse weather conditions such as high winds, severe cold or icy conditions, we will contact you to discuss an alternative date

    I’ve been mountain biking since 1989 and thought I’d have some 1 to 1 tuition to sort out the bad habits I’d accumulated over the years. Dave not only accomplished this, no mean feat in itself, but what surprised me was how much more I learned in the two hour session. And it was fun! I’m saving for the next session.

    I had a great 1 to 1 lesson with Alex. He was very patient and it was an enjoyable experience. It was my first coaching lesson and I felt 100% comfortable the whole time. I learnt some very valuable points that I will take on with me moving forward. I feel a lot more comfortable on my bike and motivated to move forward. Great value for money.

    Fantastic coaching session with Alex! I had 3 hours 1-on-1 in the wet, but so worthwhile.
    I have been riding for a about 3 years and Alex helped me immensely focusing on the 4 fundamentals of riding.
    Perfect mix of pump track, skills park, flat and then trails, drops and turns, putting everything to the test.
    I am eager to keep practising and maintaining what I have learned, and felt my riding seriously benefitted from the time invested when I enjoyed a full day riding (in the dry!) the following day..

    I had a 1:1 session with Tom and all i can say is that it was amazing. before i started session I would have never beloved I would be able to complete a black trail.
    however with Toms patience and help was i able to complete ski run from top to bottom. I now have the confidence and skill to complete all black trails at Forest of dean

    The team at Wye MTB were awesome at pulling together a short notice coaching session for me. My coach Todd was really great – he was experienced and confident at watching my efforts and suggesting how to improve. The use of video was really really helpful. Thumbs up for Todd who is a lovely bloke as well as a top coach! I achieved exactly what I wanted to achieve, which was to go away feeling more confident and with some specific things to practice. Thanks to the whole team – I’ll be back for sure!
