The Wye Valley Off Piste is a fantastic day out riding the best secret natural trails in the area and an uplift service in between!
The Wye Valley, South Wales has some fantastic mountain biking, more than you can ride in a day! We provide an uplift service to transport you between the best riding spots to help you get the most out of your day.
Our WyeMTB guides will lead you through these epic descents as the support vehicle takes the strain in between.
This service is not just a ride downhill, drive uplift service; you will need to do some pedalling to access the best spots and meet up with our support vehicle again. We offer 2 Wye Valley Off Piste levels;
- Our black graded trip you will need to be capable of riding black-graded mountain bike trails as there are some steep, technical and rocky descents that will challenge your riding skills!
- Our red graded trip will still have the same amount of descents but will be a less tech.
Each date will be indicated as either a Black graded trip or a Red graded trip. The day is 9.30 – 4.30 and a pub lunch is included!
We will have basic spares in our support vehicle to keep you riding, and you get lunch out on the trails to keep you fuelled. You’ll even finish off with a beer at the end of the day to celebrate your riding achievements!
We work on a maximum of seven riders to one guide, and prices start from £105 per person.
We can offer exclusive group packages if you want to ride with your mates.

A fantastic day out with Sam and Clarky from Wyemtb. Glorious trails, really great people and outstanding scenery. Trails were an awesome mix of bridleway bombers and singletrack flow and tech. Best day on the bike this year bar none!!

Back from a fantastic day out on the Wye Valley Off-Piste with a great guide, driver and food! Being a relatively inexperienced mountain biker the trails certainly took me out of my comfort zone but Sam’s matter of fact guidance was excellent and definitely helped put me more at ease. With so many varied descents and terrain I would have no hesitation recommending this to anyone looking for a challenging but fun days riding!

Golden and Epic were the buzz words for the day.. a truly challenging day in the saddle.
The banter was flowing in the Land Rover between each shuttle, followed by Sam’s trail notes before we headed into new uncharted #gnarr for our group of trail buddies.
Big smiles all round when we arrived back at the forest centre wash down with tea and cake to refuel our brains.
